This season, like all other seasons, we will be relying heavily on coding for our robot to work. This year, we will be coding our robot to do something pertaining to the subject of music and show. We are not sure exactly what we will be doing, but we will probably have to do something with climbing or music, as the theme this year is Crescendo.
Our team has been working on learning the programming language Python, and that is what our robot will be programmed with. Our robot will most likely be programmed by our team members, including Nathan Huttenlocker, Ian Burgess, Violet Walsh, Kevin Boyle, Xandria Duffling, Jason Selby, and yours truly, Leif McGinnity.
If you’re interested in donating, please check out this page. We will use any donations received to buy necessary components, such as needed parts, tools, plane tickets, etc. We would be very grateful for any donations received and will put them to good use, as mentioned above.
This section is just an attempt to reach the 250-word minimum, and I’m out of ideas, so I’ll be talking about the magnificent programming language called Python. You see, Python is a very easy-to-learn language that has over 1,000 downloadable modules that let you do anything from moving a drone to making a game. You can even make a website that can do anything you can do in base Python. Python was not named after the snake and was named after Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
