Team Spirit Award For BIROBOT

Team 6098 BIROBOT had an up and down weekend in their second district event for FIRST robotics competition. They traveled to Traverse City and competed against a strong field of competitors. BBQ Grill Auction To Benefit Our Team From Powers Hardware

We received word from Dr. Jeff Powers that he is having another grill raffle. The proceeds will once again be generously donated to the BIROBOT Team from Beaver Island Community School. The last raffle raised over $3000 to help the team. BIROBOT Thrills All At Beaver Island Independence Day Parade 2016

Here’s a look back at some of the scenes during the parade yesterday. The team was out and about showing all the people along the parade route what a great robot they built. They sort of stole the show, especially with children, as the robot maneuvered to and fro, while throwing sweet treats to all along the parade route.
