\nWe are looking forward to a campus tour and a great event at LSSU. T his is our third time competing at this FIRST in Michigan District venue. LSSU has great facilities for the event and\, with the first robotics prog ram offered in the state\, has many programs that might be of interest to our team members and fellow Island students when they finish up at BICS. \nImportant Schedule & Venue Notes: The team will “pit in” (set up our pit\, get our robot event configured and inspected\, and test it on the local field) starting at 5:00 p.m. on March 26th and will leave the Island that morning. We will return on Sunday. The competition rounds begin Friday morning with an opening ceremony at 10:00 and will continue through 7:00 p.m. or so that evening. They will resume at 9:00 Saturday mo rning and conclude at 5:00 or so that evening. Parking at LSSU requires a parking pass. Please download\, print and bring along a copy of the pass. Team members participating must have their parents sign a consent for FIRS T in Michigan. Please download\, sign and get it to school before we depar t.
